ahah i have never heard anyone say that before. thats kinda funny.
spiralshadow asked: I think the reason BDM comes to be associated with metalcore/deathcore acts is because of a) the age of the band - they were coming up with a lot of those same bands b) their style/attitude (not taking themselves too seriously). They don't actively try and differentiate themselves as artists within their genre so they're prone to be lumped in with bands that are essentially completely different. Like what you like, though, just my 2 cents
